by FREMONT, Calif. — Full-line furniture resource Homelegance has hired David Gusler as senior vice president of operations, a new position.
Reporting to the company’s senior management, Gusler will be responsible for product development and major account sales and also will be directly responsible for the company’s overseas operations.
Before joining the company, he was senior vice president, international operations at Home Meridian International and Hooker Furnishings. At HMI, he also was vice president, product development and sourcing.
“Over his 30-year career, he has gained a level of experience working with Asian factories that is unparalleled in the furniture industry,” Homelegance said in a release announcing his new position.
Jamie Collins, executive vice president of Homelegance, added, “We could not be happier to have David join our company. Homelegance has experienced incredible growth over the past few years. We are very confident that with the addition of David, we will continue to grow our market share. With his stellar reputation in the industry, it was an easy decision to add David to our team. Gusler said he is pleased to begin his new role.

Founded in 1984, Homelegance is an importer of home furnishings products based in Fremont, California. It operates 11 distribution centers in the U.S. and Canada.
