DALLAS — Corsicana Mattress Company has named Sally Erickson executive vice president and chief financial officer.
She fills a position formerly held by Matthew Veedon, who left the company in February and who is now a managing director at private equity firm Accordion.
Erickson most recently had been senior vice president and corporate controller at Serta Simmons Bedding Co. and was also president of Serta from 2019 to 2021.
Before that, she was with Sealy for 17 years, where she served most recently as vice president, specialty bedding finance. Before that, she was global vice president, field finance, vice president, finance and corporate controller and vice president, international finance.
During her career, she also has served as chief financial officer for Ready Pac Foods, was a divisional operations financial manager at Emerson Climate Technologies and also was a controller at Bosch.
She also has served on the board of WithIt.
In her new role, she reports to Eric Rhea, chief executive officer.
“Sally brings to Corsicana an extensive understanding of our industry and experience with all of the financial objectives we plan on achieving over the years to come,” Rhea said. “Her wide range of expertise will be a strong asset for all our stakeholders.”
Erickson said she is pleased to begin her new role at Corsicana.
