Napa Furniture to open West Coast warehouse

ONTARIO, Calif. — Case goods manufacturer Napa Furniture is opening a warehouse here to serve customers in the western half of the United States.

Napa’s Whistler bedroom and dining collection is one of the collections available from the company’s new West Coast warehouse.

The company has operated an East Coast warehouse in Lexington, North Carolina, for the past two and a half years that has helped serve customers in the eastern half of the U.S.

However, dealers in the West have not been able to benefit due to the high freight costs of shipping to that region.

The company also has added four new West Coast sales reps to an existing team of West Coast reps who will be able to sell product available from the California facility. In addition to servicing its existing customers, the company said the facility also will help open up new West Coast retail accounts.

It will stock the company’s bestselling solid wood bedroom, and dining room collections that are also available from North Carolina. As with the North Carolina facility the product will ship on mixed truckloads.

The facility is expected to open by the beginning of November and begin shipping product soon after.
