Premarket offers an early look at fall market introductions

Earlier this week, Home News Now attended premarket where it visited case goods and upholstery resources showing new products for the fall market cycle. These companies generated interest among retailers looking to update their sales floors in time for the early 2024 selling season with some of the latest styles and functional elements in each category.

Below is a glimpse at some of what we saw during the three-day event, with much more planned to be seen at the October High Point Market, which runs Oct. 14-18.

This is the Matrix bedroom by FD Home. It is made with quartered white ash veneers in a wire-brushed and cerused linen finish.

This bedroom is part of Legacy Classic | Modern’s Miramar collection. It is made with oak veneers and hardwood solids and features rounded corners on case pieces that give it a modern design aesthetic.

Sarreid Ltd. showed this leather sofa, which is 95 inches long. One of an estimated 200 new pieces the company is introducing at market, it retails around $4,200.

The Cosmo credenza is part of Universal’s Modern collection, which is adding 140 pieces this market, its largest collection in recent memory. The 96-inch long credenza features doors encrusted with pyrite squares and sits on a plinth base. The entire case is wrapped in aluminum in an Aged Satin Pewter finish.

This dining set is part of A.R.T. Furniture’s Montage, a casual contemporary collection made with ash veneers in an Alabaster finish.

This motion sectional is part of Luxfort Home’s CloudPower line. Designed to look like stationary upholstery, it features state-of-the-art functional elements the company is offering in the motion category.

This bed is part of the St. Edwards collection by Napa Furniture. It is made with solid sustainable Indonesian mahogany and shown in a mahogany finish.

This living room vignette was shown at Bradington-Young, a division of Hooker Furnishings. The sofa is available in multiple leathers and fabrics that are part of the custom line.

This dining set is part of Vaughan-Bassett’s new Dovetail dining collection, part of its solid wood Artisan & Post line. It is made with solid oak and is shown with solid wood side chairs and upholstered dining chairs.

These sofas and sectionals were just a small part of the mix being shown at Henglin Home during the market cycle. The company showed 40 upholstery collections at premarket and said an additional 25 were on their way for the October market.

The Mia high-back wing chair was shown at HF Custom, also a division of Hooker Furnishings. It is available in multiple cover options.
