by LUSAKA, Zambia – On May 13, 2023, Poundstretcher celebrated the grand opening and ribbon cutting of its new 968 sq. ft. Ashley Furniture HomeStore showroom at B294-4301 Eureka Park Kafue Road, Lusaka, Zambia.
Special guest Mr. John Mulongoti, Permanent Secretary for the Ministry of Commerce, Trade and Industry joined Poundstretcher and its employees at the event.
Poundstretcher owns one additional Ashley Furniture HomeStore in the surrounding region. This is the first Ashley Furniture HomeStore in Zambia. The Lusaka store will employ approximately 10 people. Ashley Furniture HomeStore, one of the world’s best-selling home furnishing brands, has more than 1,125 locations worldwide.

Various technological elements also are employed to improve the customer shopping experience.
