LOS ANGELES, Calif. – Longtime AICO sales representative Lew Nick died peacefully on Jan. 5 at his home here surrounded by family. He was 97.
AICO officials described him as a “loyal and valuable sales representative” who had been with the company for more than 26 years.
“He was a passionate and respected passionate and respected member of the furniture industry for more than a half century and was loved by his peers, his customers and all of his friends,” the company said.
“His sense of humor was always refreshing, and his contributions, recommendations and care for AICO and myself personally were boundless,” said Michael Amini, AICO’s Founder and CEO. “I will never forget his fatherly advice and will cherish him forever. I want to offer my most sincere condolences to his family, his friends and to all his customers who loved him and worked with him for many years. The furniture industry lost a great man. God bless Lew as he will never be forgotten.”
Funeral and graveside memorial service will be held for Lew at 10 a.m. on Monday Jan. 10 at Hillside Memorial Park in Culver City, Calif.
