In what can best be described as foraging, Carla Regina and James Andrew spent time in nature to capture textures and details, resulting in lighting fixtures that are memorable and beautiful.
The newest additions in the Coastal Living Collection include table lamps, indoor lighting fixtures such as sconces, pendants and chandeliers, and an indoor/outdoor lantern. The designs continue the successful partnership between Regina Andrew Detroit and Coastal Living, extending the collection in new directions.

Table Lamps
With subtle colors and textures, the newest table lamps in the Coastal Living Collection are essential pieces for bedrooms and living spaces alike. While they make a statement with their size and design details, the soothing colors of the lamps ensure that they blend seamlessly into any aesthetic.
Complete with a bark texture that adds an organic feel, the Willow Table Lamp creates a peaceful vibe on a nightstand or accent table. Inspired by vintage faux bois garden furniture, the lamp’s texture was created by using the impressions of bark pieces found in the woods.
Also with a unique texture is the Caldon Ceramic Table Lamp, which has an elongated, ceramic base that draws the eye upward. The lamp has a distinct coastal vibe with lined details that emulate underwater sand ripples, while also transcending styles to work in any setting.
The most striking table lamp introduction to the Coastal Living Lighting Collection by Regina Andrew is the Heavenly Table Lamp. Featuring a large mother-of-pearl body and a high gloss hand polish, the lamp adds ethereal beauty to a space, fitting serenely into coastal decor while also exuding modern luxury. The Heavenly Table Lamp is ideal for a calm bedroom retreat or any room where peaceful light is needed.
Lighting Fixtures
While Regina Andrew is well known for its high-end design aesthetic, it is the natural, textural elements that set its Coastal Living lighting fixtures apart from other collections. From rattan to wooden beads and cast plaster, the fixtures could be considered functional works of art.
Woven rattan is a common theme throughout the collection, including in the Nimes Sconce, with a rattan drum shade that ebbs and flows like the tide. The fixture casts warm light with discreet elegance and is especially beautiful when hung in a pair on either side of a statement mirror or down a hallway. Continuing the rattan theme is the Nimes Drum Pendant, with a wide, woven shade surrounding a white milk glass globe. Finished in natural brass, the fixture’s braided edge adds delightful detail.
The strongest of natural fibers, abaca, is used to construct theProvence Cafe Pendant, available in small and large sizes. The fixture has an undulating shade with a braided edge and brings to mind seaside cafes in the south of France. The pendant creates a true bistro experience when multiple fixtures are hung over a kitchen buffet.
With an ocean influence, the Ombre Wood Bead Flush Mount fixture features wooden beads draped gracefully in gradient layers. The beads are connected to a rattan-wrapped circular frame for a truly stunning effect.
A highlight of the Coastal Living Collection Spring Market introductions is the Clam Chandelier. A must-have for any ocean home, this imposing chandelier is hand sculpted from clay and cast in resin with a white plaster finish. The coastal essence of the piece is finished with all-white details, while 12 bulbs nest within the bowl to create an impressive up-lighting effect.
“The mold for our Clam Chandelier was created from real clams to ensure the texture was completely authentic. We scaled the piece and then cast it in plaster,” Regina said.
The Coastal Living lighting collection is rounded out with a lighting fixture designed with outdoor living in mind. The Montecito Outdoor Lantern channels the vibe of true outdoor California living, with a charcoal steel box enclosing a double-ended sconce for a beautiful glow. The Montecito embodies the natural beauty of seaside living and is available as an Up-Down Lantern and Double Arm Lantern for indoor or outdoor use.
“California has perfected indoor-outdoor living,” Regina said. “The Montecito fixture captures the feel of the rugged California coast with the refined look found in high-end Montecito homes. It really is the perfect combination of style and function.”
