Stickley Furniture Origins by Stickley collection adds more than 90 pieces in solid maple

Collection launched as bedroom in October 2019, is expanded with dining room, occasional and home office furniture

HIGH POINT – Stickley Furniture has launched one of its largest introductions in recent memory at this week’s market, the 90-plus piece Origins by Stickley collection, which offers a mix of solid maple dining room, occasional and home office furniture.

Home office represents more than a third of the mix, with about 36 new items including desks, bookcases and file/storage cabinets, making it perhaps the company’s single largest home office launch. Two swivel-tilt office chairs, with or without arms, also are available in the collection.

These pieces along with companion dining and occasional fall within three groups called Dwyer, Gable Road and Revere.

Priced at about 20% below typical Stickley wood product, it falls within the good, or entry priced realm of a “good, better, best” product offering.

“It fits that opening price point in solid wood, and we designed it to run through the factory efficiently,” Stickley President Edward Audi told Home News Now of the domestically produced collection.

This desk and companion bookcase units are part of the Origins by Stickley collection being shown at the October High Point Market.

In addition to 48-inch and 60-inch leg desks with drawer storage in each of the three groups, there are desks without drawer storage. The large and smaller desks with drawer storage retail at $1,899 and $1,699 respectively.

There are also 36-inch, 48-inch and 60-inch low bookcases with two shelves and tall bookcase units in 48-inch, 60-inch and 72-inch-high footprints. Also in the office assortment are one-drawer and two-door cabinets and two-drawer file cabinets, hutch units with shelf and door storage and 60-inch-wide media cabinets with door and shelf storage.

“It is one of our larger case goods markets we have had in terms of SKU count,” Edward Audi, added of the collection.

Pieces are also available in 12 finish and nine hardware options.

“It is a story of options in finish as well as hardware, all things that are important to today’s consumer,” said Aminy Audi, CEO.

The introduction follows the October 2019 launch of the Origins bedroom, which includes three bedrooms featuring statement king and queen beds and coordinating case pieces in multiple finish options.

Also new this market in Origins are new dining and occasional tables including 42-inch, 48-inch and 54-inch round versions with leg, open pedestal or solid pedestal bases and fixed-top rectangular leg tables in 62-inch, 74-inch and 92-inch sizes.

Companion arm and side dining chairs with wood and fabric seats in eight fabric options also are available as are small and large servers.

The occasional mix includes rectangular and round cocktail tables as well as consoles, and various drawer, shelf and leg end tables.

At market, Origins by Stickley can be seen in the Stickley showroom at 225 N. Elm St.
