Cameron Cook-Sellers joins Hooker Furnishings as VP, brand marketing and communications

The exec brings more than 18 years of experience in creating strategic, multichannel campaigns aimed at fueling brand awareness, revenue growth

MARTINSVILLE, Va. — Cameron Cook-Sellers has joined Hooker Furnishings as vice president of brand marketing and communications, a new position.

In this role, the company said, she will oversee brand marketing, growth marketing and insights, partnerships and licensing as well as global communications. She reports to Johne Albanese, chief marketing officer.

“Cameron is a seasoned global marketer with more than 18 years of experience creating strategic multichannel brand-building campaigns to grow awareness while driving revenue,” Albanese said. “We look forward to having her join the team and bringing with her fresh energy and marketing innovation. We are confident she will play a significant role in helping guide our brands into an exciting new chapter for our customers and consumers.”

Cook-Sellers comes to the company from Lowe’s Cos., where she was most recently head of partnerships, and before that, brand marketing manager for Consumer Engagements. She started with Lowe’s in early 2018 as media marketing manager before being promoted to brand marketing manager for the Kitchens & Bath segment.

Before joining Lowe’s, she was director of marketing at Palliser Furniture and before that was director of marketing at Natuzzi. She also previously was marketing communications manager and e-commerce manager at Four Hands and before that was the company’s online virtual warehouse manager and public relations manager.

Earlier in her career she was a senior account manager at Design Management Co. and a marketing assistant at Carolyn Kinder International.

Kenzi Reddick

She will work alongside Kenzi Reddick, vice president of marketing, creative, interior design and events. Reddick joined the company in March 2023 and will continue her role of “establishing a creative vision for the company across a broad spectrum of creative initiatives as well as playing a pivotal role in growing the company’s interior design channel.” Reddick also is taking on additional responsibilities leading the company’s event and hospitality initiatives.

Cook-Sellers said she is pleased “to be joining the incredible Hooker Furnishings team to continue building on the momentum of the brand.
