Martin Furniture names Andy Bell VP of supply chain and logistics

SAN DIEGO — Martin Furniture has hired Andy Bell as vice president of supply chain and logistics, a new position.

Bell comes to the company from Andy Bell Sales, where he was chief executive officer.

In his new position, he will lead Martin Furniture’s global logistics initiatives and also lead the company’s new Vietnam mixed container warehouse and its existing facility in San Diego, providing a focus on “ongoing cost and productivity improvements.” He reports to Gil Martin, founder and CEO.

“Andy’s appointment as vice president of supply chain and logistics marks a significant milestone for Martin Furniture,” Martin said. “His unparalleled expertise make him the ideal leader to drive our supply chain and logistics operations forward.”

Bell said he looks forward to “leveraging my experience and expertise to optimize our supply chain and logistics operations, driving efficiency, innovation and ultimately delivering exceptional value to our customers.”
