Flexsteel’s G. Alejandro Huerta resigns to pursue other opportunity

DUBUQUE, Iowa — Flexsteel Chief Financial Officer G. Alejandro Huerta has submitted his resignation to pursue another career opportunity.

Huerta, who also serves as principal financial and accounting officer, is being replaced on an interim basis by Chief Operating Officer Derek Schmidt until the company finds a successor.

Schmidt previously served as the company’s chief financial officer and principal financial and accounting officer from April 2020 to June 2022.
