Job Title: VP of Showroom (Retail) Sales and Operations

Description: The VP of Retail Sales will lead and assist store managers in all facets of daily showroom operations and sales success.
Applicants should have a proven track record of demonstrating the energy, desire, and attitude needed to manage daily operations, build successful sales teams, and manage CRMs, to meet sales goals and operational KPMS.
Responsibilities include continually identifying new opportunities where improvements can be made, developing sales plans and training strategies to achieve sales and operational goals, and working with marketing to design promotional materials for the company’s showrooms, products and services.
The person in this role will also assist Store Managers in recruiting and onboarding sales and design team members and develop training programs, conducting regularly scheduled training on both product and sales processes.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of success in a leadership position relating to consultative sales, retail sales, home furnishings, or similar industries.
- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and digital)
- High energy, self-confidence, and the desire to work in a showroom/retail setting are musts!
Work Environment & Schedule
- Casual Furniture World prides itself on a family atmosphere. While regular schedules should be maintained we understand the need to flex amongst teammates as situations arise.
- Most of the time (approx 70%) will be spent on showroom floors working with customers, sales teams, store managers, and purchasers/merchandisers. 6 to 8 hours of office time per week should be expected.
- A flexible or hybrid schedule can be explored with continued success, however, a minimum of 2 Saturdays (or weekends) per month should be expected for at least the first year.
