HO CHI MINH CITY, Vietnam – The Vietnam Trade Promotion Agency (Vietrade), the Vietnam Trade Office in the U.S. and the Handicraft & Wood Industry Association of Ho Chi Minh City are hosting a webinar and business match-making session the evening of Dec. 15 that will discuss opportunities for Vietnam manufacturers to do more business in the U.S.
The webinar runs from 8:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. Wednesday Nov. 15.
Bui Huy Son, minster counselor and head of the Trade Office for the Embassy of Vietnam in the U.S. will give an opening presentation on “Promoting Trade Cooperation Between Vietnam and the U.S.”
This will be followed by a presentation by Thomas Russell, editor-in-chief of Home News Now, who will discuss opportunities for Vietnamese manufacturers looking to do business in the U.S. in the year ahead and beyond.
Following Russell’s talk, a representative of HAWA will discuss their take on entering the American furniture market and this will be followed by a presentation from a Vietnamese manufacturer who will share their success story involving the U.S. market.
This will be followed by a Q&A between the attendees and the speakers as well as a match-making session for those attending the event, which is open to both Vietnamese and U.S. furniture companies.
