HAWA to debut new Vietnam furniture show in Ho Chi Minh City in February ’23

HO CHI MINH CITY, Vietnam — The Handicraft & Wood Industry Association of Ho Chi Minh City has announced a new trade show to take place in early 2023.

HAWAExpo is set to take place Feb. 22-25, 2023 at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center in District 7 of Ho Chi Minh City.

The show will feature some 350-400 exhibitors of furniture, accessories and handicrafts made by mostly locally owned and operated Vietnam factories. The event will take place in about 150,000 square feet of space at the exhibition and convention center, occupying two indoor halls and a series of outdoor tents set up at  the site.

Previously, HAWA in conjunction with support from various government agencies, operated and organized the Vietnam International Furniture & Home Accessories Fair. However, following the transfer in ownership to a private entity, HAWA decided to start its own show, HAWAExpo.

HAWA said it is now collaborating with the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Industry and Trade on the new HAWAExpo, also known as the Ho Chi Minh Export Furniture Fair 2023.

Home News Now will provide updates and additional information about the show in upcoming newsletters. For more information, contact info@hawa.org.vn.
