by LENOIR, N.C. — Bernhardt Furniture has named Steve Miller merchandise manager of residential case goods.
He fills a position previously occupied by Steve Joiner, who recently retired.
Miller comes to Bernhardt from Legacy Classic/Modern, where he was director of product development.
Before this, he worked at Riverside Furniture for about six years, most recently as director of product development. At Riverside, he also was product development manager and product development engineer.
Previously, he was a furniture designer and draftsman at Haywood West & Co. and before that was a plant specialist at Rushkin Industries in Hickory.
