MULBERRY, Fla. — Badcock Home Furniture & more, now part of publicly held Franchise Group, has promoted company veteran Mitchell Stiles to chief revenue officer.
Previously senior vice president of retail operations for the more than 380-store Top 100 company, Stiles has been with Badock for 20 years, starting his career in retail as a sales associate, then store manager, eventually working his way up through the corporation’s retail operations.
As SVP of retail operations and chief credit officer, Stiles led the company’s retail operations functions, dealer relations and sales efforts, as well as management of Badcock’s credit underwriting policies and servicing programs. In his new role, Stiles will be focused on what the company called “four-wall economics” to propel its growth through retail operations, sales, credit, merchandising and marketing and ensure all are working as a unified group.
Over the past five years, Stiles has played a key role in the company’s unit growth, the company said, through new corporate and dealer stores and building and strengthening Badcock’s dealer network through collaborative relationships with store owners.
“Mitchell’s experience with Badcock, deep knowledge of multiple facets of the company and passion for our business made him a perfect fit for this new position and well-deserved promotion,” Badcock President and CEO Rob Burnette said in a statement. “I know that he will bring that same energy and commitment to the role of chief revenue officer.”
