Martin Furniture provides needed school supplies to 4 orphanages in Mexico

SAN DIEGO – Martin Furniture, a leading global manufacturer of office and entertainment furniture solutions held an employee campaign that teamed up with orphanages to provide a bright start to the school year for area teachers and students by donating backpacks filled with essential school supplies.

“We believe it’s important kids have all of the items they need to learn throughout the school year,” remarked Gil
Martin, chief executive officer of Martin Furniture. “Nothing gives us more pleasure than helping a child, especially ones in need.”

In a two-day endeavor, Martin Furniture went to each orphanage and provided hundreds of backpacks filled with essential school supplies to support four orphanages that strive to educate in academics, life skills, moral, spiritual, and social values transforming despair into hope. They are Casa Hogar Sion, A.C., Eunime, Casa de la Esperanza, and Casa Hogar La Gloria.

“We had a great day enjoying distributing the back-to-school supplies and backpacks to 4 orphanages for children with all kinds of needs,” said Laura Aleman of Martin Furniture. “It’s a good feeling to see the children light up and get excited to have their very own backpack with school supplies.”
