There will be a market kickoff party hosted by Brittany Chevalier, Executive Editor of Luxe Interiors + Design, to celebrate 30 years and three generations of design for Lillian August. The event will be held Friday, April 21, from 5-7 p.m. at the Sherrill Showroom.
Lillian, her son Dan, and granddaughter Eliza now work together as a family team pursuing their creative endeavors and having strong relationships with their manufacturers. This talented trio continues to provide an unparalleled on-trend resource for home design with a strong brand vision. “I am so proud to be celebrating three generations of hard work and success with our family, friends, colleagues, and fans of great design,” says Lillian August.
The latest designs featured in the showroom lean into three unique lifestyles that represent the vision of the three generations. First is the Maximalist Regency, a look that Lillian always applauds, which blends historical references and glamour with bold, bright colors and patterns.
Eliza has inspired some introductions this season in a New Traditional style that is a fresh interpretation of the Grand-Millennial trend that is so popular today. These innovative designs revisit traditional styles and frames to highlight their romantic point of view. “I am inspired to introduce new pieces that will appeal to our devoted customer base along with a new generation of young designers who are revisiting what traditional means with a new romantic lens,” says Eliza Weiss.
The Vintage Roundtop collection, which mixes natural materials and relaxed finishes for an elegant casual look, represents Dan’s aesthetic and point of view. “Now, with three generations, we can expand upon our brand to portray a range of lifestyles and looks that fit various aesthetics,’’ says Dan Weiss, “We are excited to continue to develop new and elevated furniture designs for years to come.’’
