Bellini Modern Living names Jay Jerome VP of sales

RICHMOND HILL, Ontario – Upholstery and case goods resource Bellini Modern Living has hired industry veteran Jay Jerome as vice president of sales, a role in which he will oversee the company’s network of sales representatives in North America.

Jay Jerome

He comes to Bellini with three decades of sales and marketing experience. He most recently worked as a brand ambassador for Caracole Home and before that was an independent sales representative for Classic Home and Universal Furniture. He was also previously vice president of sales and marketing at Curations Ltd. and before that held the same position at Calvin Klein Furniture.

In his new position, he fills a role previously held by Frederik Winther, who left Bellini in July to become vice president of sales at Hjort Knudsen.

Jerome reports to Hossein Azimi, who founded the company in Toronto in 2002.

“Jay is one of the most respected sales leaders in the higher-end segment of the industry, so we are thrilled to have him join our team,” Azimi said. “His experience and leadership is not only an important asset for our dealers, but will help us increase our penetration at retail. As a true leader who prides himself on building inspiring team environments, culturally speaking, Jay is a perfect fit for Bellini. He understands who we are and what we stand for, and most importantly, what our dealers require to be successful.”

Jerome said he is pleased to join the team at Bellini Modern Living.

“Hossein and his team have built an amazing brand with outstanding products, both from a design and construction perspective. Combine that with the strong values of the company, and you have all the key components for even greater success,” Jerome said.
