HIGH POINT — At the Sept. 12-13 Premarket Home News Now visited a number of showrooms to get a sense of what types of product dealers can expect to see at next month’s October High Point Market. These visits included conversations with both case goods and upholstery suppliers, many of which were mostly market ready.
Here are some of the interesting new products we saw at both sponsor and non-sponsor companies along with and scenes from the Premarket reception at Grandover on Monday evening — the first time the event took place since before the pandemic. Retailers and their suppliers celebrated the chance to enjoy some good food and wine and spend some time together at an event Premarket organizers consider one of the most important gatherings of the market cycle.

Case goods resource FD Home debuted its new Lafayette Square bedroom shown in a Chipped White finish on white oak veneers. A queen bed retails from $799 to $849.
This is Vaughan-Bassett’s Vista bedroom shown in cherry veneers in a cherry finish. The mansion bed retails at $999.
Hekman Furniture showed these new accent pieces, including a file cabinet, a writing desk and an accent table made with solid mango.
Kuka Home showed its new Mediterranean collection at Premarket. It includes this leather sofa and chair and a fabric accent chair and cocktail ottoman.
HMi Group showed many different vignettes in its new Portfolio line, which includes furniture from its Pulaksi, Samuel Lawrence and Prime Resources International divisions. The program will provide 1,000 bestselling SKUs that will be stocked in the Savannah, Georgia warehouse of parent company Hooker Furnishings.
This sectional and chaise is part of Flexteel’s Charisma line. It was one of four groups that the company showed at Premarket, each of which is available in two fabrics. Sectionals are targeted to retail for $2,499 and at $2,999 with a chaise.
The Renewal bedroom by Napa Furniture is made with mixed hardwood solids and shown in a Natural Driftwood finish.
At Premarket, A.R.T. Furniture showed its Moreau sofa and its Mezzanine cocktail, end and accent tables featuring antiqued mirrored surfaces that are part of the Mezzanine collection.
Sunpan showed this glasstop cocktail sporting a base featuring old wood beams and a metal frame in an Antique Gray Steel finish.
