NEW YORK — Textiles manufacturer Richloom has promoted longtime company executive Michael Saivetz to president.
He takes on a role that was previously filled by Jim Richman, who has been president and chief executive officer the past 25 years. Richman remains CEO.
Saivetz has been chief operations officer for the company for 26 years. In this role, he was responsible for domestic and international operations at Richloom Fabrics Group, Richloom Home Fashions as well as Richloom Shanghai Trading Ltd., which he established as part of the company’s China operations.
For about two years starting in June 1999, he also was national sales manager for the company’s RV and manufactured housing segment, increasing sales 150% during this period, according to his LinkedIn profile.
In his new position, the company said, he will continue to manage day-to-day operations, reporting to Richman.
“Together they will oversee growth initiatives, strategic planning and expansion opportunities for the company,” Richloom said in a post announcing the appointment on LinkedIn. “This promotion will ensure the company’s stability in current and future business dealings for years to come.”
