GOSHEN, Indiana—Fusion Designs, a leader in solid wood, domestically produced case goods, is once again expanding its popular Essentials collection this Fall at the High Point Market with two new dining groups and a standalone piece designed to make entertaining a breeze, no matter the size of a space.
The collection can be seen in its showroom in space 404 of the Radio Building.
Essentials features bench-built furniture designs that can be customized in a choice of 35 hand-wiped finishes and shipped to retailers in just 10 days.
Fusion Designs first introduced the successful concept seven years ago, tagging a limited number of best-selling products for larger production runs and stocking them in white wood, ready-to-finish. As the program has gained in popularity, the company adds new designs based on retailer demand.
New this market is the Harmony trestle dining group crafted in brown maple, featuring a clean-lined trestle table with a mission shaped top and an under-bevel edge, that can be expanded for entertaining with up to four, 12-inch, self-storing leaves. The table is shown paired with the Morgan chair, a comfortable design with a high back and scoop seat that invites lingering around the table with friends and family.
Also new to the Essentials program is the Hatfield dining group in brown maple, featuring another clean-lined dining table, this time with a boat-shaped top and beveled edge that can accommodate up to two 18-inch leaves.
The Harmony buffet is a stand-alone, multifunctional cabinet crafted in solid brown maple, designed to appeal to consumers who may be short on space.
“This program has been a great way for us to reach younger consumers who yearn for good-looking, quality furniture that will actually last,” said Marcus Bontrager, president of Fusion Designs. “We know that many are urban dwellers who live in smaller spaces, and that means they need smart, multifunctional pieces, especially for entertaining. We designed the Harmony buffet with them in mind.”
Fully customizable, with a variety of leg choices, as well as the option of three door styles (raised or reversed wood, or glass panel), the Harmony Buffet is available in two sizes (35-inches, and 65-inches) and is packed with features, including a spice rack neatly hidden in the top drawer, a reversible wine glass holder rack and a removable cutting board, perfect for serving small bites like fruits and cheeses. Suggested retail pricing is $1,500 to $2,500 depending on the size.
“The Essentials collection continues to receive great response from our retailers, who appreciate the ability to attract new customers with affordably priced, quality furniture that can be customized to reflect their personal style,” Bontrager said.
