GREENVILLE, Fla. — Compass Sleep Products, a manufacturer of quality mattress products under its own brand and for private label, has promoted Savannah Vause to plant manager to oversee the daily operational management of the facility.
In this newly created position, she will be responsible for the daily operational and physical aspects of the facility, staffing, and incoming orders and production. Vause will report to Compass Sleep Products CEO and General Manger, Ricky Riley.
“In an industry where women are the primary purchasing decisionmakers, we believe having Savannah in a key leadership role will bring us greater insight into our product development and marketing efforts to more effectively reach this audience,” Riley said. “Since joining us she has shown her abilities as a skilled leader. She has a profound commitment to each and every member of our team and nurturing those employee relationships reflects her dedication to their growth and well-being of our corporate family. We feel incredibly fortunate to have such a remarkable leader on our team.”
In August 2022, Vause joined Compass as a human resources and payroll manager. Before joining Compass, Vause served in a human resources capacity with Twin Oaks Juvenile Development, a local community partner of Compass. She also learned vital operational and employee relations skills while working as an accountant and office secretary at her father’s contracting firm.
“Compass is a wonderful organization with a very committed team of professionals dedicated to making the highest quality products and giving our customers superior service and training. I am also proud of our commitment to helping the communities where we do business. I am grateful for the opportunity to play a greater role in the future growth and profitability of our company,” said Vause.
Vause resides in Crawfordville, Florida with her husband, Hunter Truman.
