HIGH POINT – Upholstery manufacturer Kuka Home has named industry veteran Rick Coppola executive vice president, sales, a new position.
He comes to the company from Ashley Furniture, where he was president, sales for the last 15 years. In his executive role at Ashley, he was responsible for various aspects of the business including product development and planning and sales management and training.
In his new position, Coppola will be responsible for growing overall sales, including special accounts, the company told Home News Now. He reports to Justin Smith, Kuka’s chief sales officer.
“I am excited to see how Rick will help Kuka Home achieve our ambitious growth goals,” said Matt Harrison, president, Kuka Home North America. “Rick has developed relationships with many in the industry during his career, and also brings experience and talent in merchandising, sales training and product development that will be a valuable contribution to the Kuka team.”
Harrison also said that Kuka is optimistic about its growth prospects amid current market conditions.
“We will continue to focus on expanding the company’s growth through investments in people and strategic infrastructure,” he said.
