by AVONDALE, Ariz. – Mattress manufacturer King Koil has named bedding industry sales veteran Scott Moore as vice president, sales for the West Coast.
He has more than 30 years of experience as a retail RSA and bedding industry executive and most recently was vice president of regional sales for Restonic’s Visionary Sleep.
Before that, he worked for 20 years for Serta and later with Serta Simmons Bedding where he started as a territory manager for Southern Wisconsin and Northern Illinois before being promoted to Midwest district sales manager. He then became regional vice president, sales.
Before joining the mattress industry, he was a market manager, store manager and RSA for Leath/Modern Age Furniture, which had 24 Midwest locations and seven in Florida.
Moore also is a U.S. Navy Veteran who among other roles, was a watch supervisor for the Anti-Submarine Warfare Communications Center in Iceland.
