The Vice President, Sustainability will play a key role in helping ARHAUS advance its corporate responsibility ambitions as outlined in our sustainability strategy. This position reports to the Chief Marketing and Ecommerce Officer and will work cross-functionally to lead our ESG Steering Committee.
The ideal candidate will have broad experience and subject matter expertise in corporate sustainability, ESG strategy and reporting, and excellent project management, interpersonal and problem-solving skills. This is an opportunity to work on a wide range of sustainability projects and programs in the premium furnishings industry. This role will shape the future of Arhaus ESG initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated understanding of key sustainability practices within a brand, in supply chain, and products and materials, especially in the area of climate change and reducing GHG emissions
- Keen understanding and interest in sustainability good, better and best practices
- Results-oriented and adept and change leadership
- Exceptional cross-functional management skills; ability to bring people together around a common goal and lead by influence
- Strong written and presentation skills, both internally and externally
