Man Wah launches new stocking program

Company is building for inventory for the first time, allowing dealers quicker access to bestselling motion upholstery groups

HIGH POINT  — Motion upholstery specialist Man Wah has launched a new stocking program that the manufacturer says will provide retailers quicker access to its bestselling models.

The company said it is stocking 11 of its bestselling groups that are made at its Vietnam factory and warehoused at the same facility.

This sectional is among the products that Man Wah is including in its new stocking program.

By shipping those goods in roughly four weeks from the time of the order, the company will eliminate long wait times that smaller dealers have experienced in the past. Including time on the water, those dealers can now expect to receive those products in roughly two and a half months.

In preparation for the program, the company has been building inventory for a wide selection of motion upholstery including home theater groups, motion sofas, loveseats and sectionals, as well as recliners and lift chairs. Dealers can mix as many as five different groups on a single container.

Marking the first time that the company has built for inventory, the program aims to provide dealers maximum flexibility at a time when many are still looking to fill voids on their floors created by the departure of major resources including Lane and Klaussner.

“Whether you are looking to fill the void left by others, or simply seeking a program of high-turn, proven winners, Man Wah has got you covered,” the company said.

“By introducing this program, Man Wah aims to enhance the overall retailer partnership experience by providing more choices and faster delivery,” said Gabriele Natale, chief executive officer. “Customers no longer have to wait for months to enjoy the quality and values of Man Wah furniture. They now can fill their stores in a shorter period.”

At the upcoming High Point Market, the company will showcase products included in the stocking program at its new showroom in Space 1258 of the Commerce Wing of the International Home Furnishings Center.
