by KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia — Organizers of the Export Furniture Exhibition held here have announced that the 16th edition of the event will be held March 7-10 at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Center in Kuala Lumpur.
“Our industry players will showcase the best product from their companies during EFE 2023 to welcome all international buyers and generate more business opportunities in the process,” show organizers said in a statement. “We hope that EFE fulfills global furniture sourcing needs and increases Malaysian export figures.’
Organized by the Malaysian Furniture Council, the event will occupy about 400,000 square feet of space at the KLCC and feature a wide range of case goods, upholstery, youth furniture and bedding from some 400 exhibitors, most of which are Malaysian manufacturers.
The event is also adding the EFE Office Show, a new segment which features commercial office furniture that is also produced by mostly Malaysian enterprises.
The 16th edition of the show was originally to be held this past March. However, in January, the Malaysian government restricted the entry of international visitors including those planning to attend trade shows such as EFE.
