Hooker Furnishings promotes Parrish, Angle

MARTINSVIILLE, Va. – Hooker Furnishings has promoted Alexandra Parrish to vice president of e-commerce for its HMI Group and Matt Angle to vice president of e-commerce for Hooker Legacy Brands and digital marketing.

Both report to Johne Albanese, chief marketing officer and president of global e-commerce at Hooker Furnishings.

In the new role, Parrish, based out of the company High Point office, will be responsible for e-commerce sales, operations, and brand strategies specifically for HMI brands, including creating custom business solutions and identifying opportunities to increase sales. Over the last 13 years, she has previously held the positions of customer service manager, senior manager key accounts, sales operations manager, and director of sales, operations, e-commerce and territory accounts within HMI Group.

Matt Angle

Angle, an employee of the company for nearly seven years, previously held the positions of e-commerce marketing manager and director of e-commerce and digital marketing. In his new role, he will be responsible for managing and leading e-commerce sales, operations and brand strategies for Hooker legacy brands. Additionally, he will manage and direct Hooker Furnishings corporate digital brand strategies. Angle is based out of the company’s Martinsville, Va., office.

“Alexandra and Matt have been internal leaders in digital marketing for a number of years and these promotions reflect the significant accomplishments they have achieved for our businesses,” Albanese said in a statement.
