Design-driven updates in IMC’s IHFC and InterHall for spring High Point Market

HIGH POINT – International Market Centers’ (IMC) International Home Furnishings Center (IHFC) and its landmark InterHall destination are the epicenter of design-driven home furnishing sourcing with 23 exhibitor updates among its nearly 300 showrooms and temporary exhibits set for the April 2-6, 2022 High Point Market.

Trends Begin in InterHall

InterHall, IMC’s curated assortment of design-driven showrooms and temporary exhibits on the first floor of IHFC, is at capacity for Spring High Point with 70+ brands including 10 brands that are new to the collection or returning after a hiatus.

In the 50+ temporary exhibits, three brands are new to InterHall and debuting at High Point Market: Bertu Home (modern solid-wood indoor and outdoor furniture), Lahka Designs (furniture handcrafted in Chicago) and Natures Collection (Nordic design high-quality fur accent pieces made in Denmark). Additionally, four brands have chosen InterHall for their High Point Market return after a pandemic hiatus: Adriana Hoyos Furnishings (luxury case goods, upholstery and accessories made in Ecuador), Authentic Models (handcrafted furniture and decorative objects), Dowel Furniture (handcrafted high-end solid wood seating and case goods) and Natural Curiosities (handmade art, wall decor, mirrors and objects). Three brands relocate to InterHall from elsewhere at High Point Market: Olivia + Quinn (boutique leather upholstery), Sifas (casual furniture from France) and York Wallcoverings (the largest wallcoverings manufacturer in the United States).

InterHall’s 80,000 square feet of exhibit space also features nearly 20 showrooms with brands including Bungalow 5, Hubbardton Forge, Nuevo, Regina Andrew and more.

Cross Category Updates In IHFC

IHFC’s 11 additional showroom floors feature 13 cross-category updates among nearly 200 furniture, bedding and décor exhibitors for Spring 2022. In furniture and bedding, two new showrooms are Flair Enterprises (a division of Minhas Furniture producing sofa, chairs, bedroom suites and dining sets in Canada) and Global Home USA (unique home furniture from around the world). Two major expansions are Magnussen Home (living, dining and bedroom furniture, home office furniture and upholstery) adding more space to launch its new 3121 Home brand and MotoSleep (motion bedframes) relocating to IHFC and more than doubling its space. Additionally, Bellini Modern Living (Modern Contemporary Furniture) and Modway Furniture (modern indoor and outdoor furniture, area rugs and mattresses) expand their showrooms.

IHFC’s home décor resources continue to diversify with new offerings in accents, lighting, rugs and wall art. New for Spring 2022 are Accent Décor (design-driven vessels and home décor) and Kalco Lighting (fixed-wire lighting and lamps). Two expansions are Frank Thomas Art (fine antique reproduction prints) and Rugs America (area rugs), and three relocations are Bougainvillea (preserved and artificial florals), Celadon Art (framed wall art) and Lite Source (fixed-wire lighting and lamps).

International Market Centers’ 17 properties in High Point include: 300 E. Green St.; 300 S. Main St.; Commerce & Design Building (C&D); Furniture Plaza; Historic Market Square; IHFC; Klaussner on Hamilton; Market Square Textile Tower; National Furniture Mart; Plaza Suites; Showplace; the Suites at Market Square; and five on Hamilton Street – 121, 200, 320 and 330 N.
