Now open to the public and by appointment, this 4,366 square foot showroom – Resource Furniture’s largest showroom to date – features the brand’s best-selling wall beds, along with an assortment of transforming tables, sofas, and dining chairs. The renovation includes the addition of Resource Furniture’s newest wall beds, the LGM 2.0 and the Tonale Sectional.
“Since we first opened our doors at 969 Third Avenue nearly twenty years ago, our flagship showroom has evolved into the premier destination for modern transforming and multipurpose furniture,” said Steve Spett, co-founder of Resource Furniture. “We are pleased to debut our latest arrivals from Italy, ranging from motorized wall beds to modular sofas, transforming tables, and completely customizable media and office units. Visitors to our newly redesigned showroom will be treated to an unparalleled furniture shopping experience.”
Along with the brand’s array of luxury wall beds, the showroom now features the new Wally, custom home bars, desks and cabinetry, Curve, and Cosy. The floorplan is organized into transforming vignettes to encourage clients to visualize the furniture in their space. The vignettes include a home office that becomes a guest room, a guest room that becomes a home theater, and a dining room that becomes a mother-in-law suite, all in a neutral color palette in line with Resource Furniture’s ultra-modern aesthetic. While each area is unique, showroom designer Adam Hare created a cohesive, sophisticated showroom that demonstrates the power of multi-functional living.
The renovated showroom also includes a large conference room, tucked away from the front of the space for designers to spread out materials, meet with clients, and cast designs onto the large-screen TV.
The showroom will be open to the public from 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. EST, Monday through Friday, and 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. It is located at 969 Third Avenue at 58th Street, 4th Floor, New York, NY 10022.
