HIGH POINT – Motion upholstery and adjustable bed base resource MotoMotion/MotoSleep is tripling its space here in time for the April 2-6 High Point Market.
The company is moving to a 53,000-square-foot space in C-800 of the International Home Furnishings Center, which is on the same floor as AICO, Modus Furniture and Magnussen Home.
The company previously occupied about 17,000 square feet of space on the ninth floor of the National Furniture Mart building at the corner of South Main Street and Commerce Avenue.
The company said the growth it experienced through its previous location prompted the move to the new showroom. With the additional space, it will now be able to show more new and existing products in both categories.
“We were continually facing the problem of what category would need to be abbreviated with each new launch,” said Jack Copley, president. “The increased square footage of the new space will allow us to showcase each of our growing categories effectively and to introduce our increasing capabilities from our China and Vietnam facilities. We look forward to hosting our customers in the new expanded location, with the same experience they have come to enjoy over the years with Moto.”
The company’s introduction at the upcoming market will be the largest in the company’s history, Bo Morrison, vice president sales, told Home News Now. He noted that the expanded product line and space where it is showing is a sign of the company’s investment with the industry and the market.
“We are investing heavily here,” he said, adding that the company also continues to show at the Las Vegas Market. “We are super appreciative of what the High Point Market does for us.”
