Clive Daniel Home opening new distribution center in Fort Myers

175,000-square-foot facility will be completed in September, serving the company’s growing retail and interior design business

FORT MYERS, Fla. — Luxury furnishings retailer and interior design specialist Clive Daniel Home is opening a 175,000-square-foot distribution center here.

The company said that it has three warehouses currently but is consolidating these distribution facilities to be able to double its inventory capacity in the new location, which is expected to be completed in September.

The expansion of the company’s distribution facilities is in addition to a fourth retail store that Clive Daniel Home is planning in Fort Myers in the fall, the retailer told Home News Now. Its other three stores are in Naples, Sarasota and Boca Raton. It also has a designer outlet in Naples.

“We have numerous local, national and international projects, so it’s crucial for us to be able to store and move large volumes of product in a quick and efficient manner,” said Daniel Lubner, Clive Daniel Home’s chief executive officer. “We want a facility that will match our 10-year growth plans and support our logistics teams — the unsung heroes of our business — as they fulfill the needs of our clients and designers.”

In addition to space for warehouse and distribution, the Fort Myers facility will have a photo studio, corporate offices for the merchandising team, and break and locker rooms for its employees.
