Bo Morrison joins Man Wah as VP, sales

Executive brings more than 20 years of experience to the company

HIGH POINT — Motion furniture manufacturer Man Wah has hired industry veteran Bo Morrison as vice president of sales, a new position.

Bo Morrison

He comes to the company from motion furniture resource HHC Moto Group, where he also was vice president of sales. Before that, he was president of Prime Resources International and prior to that was vice president upholstery at Standard Furniture Manufacturing. He also previously was director of national accounts at Ashley Furniture and director of motion upholstery, recliners and theater seating at Lane.

Earlier in his career, he worked in sales and merchandising for Berkline.

In his new position, he reports to Gabriele Natale, chief executive officer of Man Wah.

The company said that Morrison brings with him “a wealth of industry expertise and a remarkable track record of success. … As the VP of sales, Bo will play a crucial role in steering Man Wah toward continued growth and success. His leadership, combined with his deep understanding of consumer trends and market dynamics, will undoubtedly give Man Wah a competitive edge.”

“We are confident that Bo’s vast experience and business relationships will further strengthen our position as the powerhouse in motion  upholstery,” Natale added.

Morrison, who started the position earlier this month, said he is pleased to begin this new role in the industry.

“Having this opportunity to leverage my experience with the world’s largest motion company will allow me to forge new opportunities for myself as well as Man Wah,” he said.
