NEW YORK – Full-line furniture resource Meridian Furniture has hired Mitch Hodges as vice president of sales, a new position.
Hodges comes to the company from Bassett Mirror, where he was vice president, sales for the past six and half years. In that position, he worked with Top 100 retailers and built a national sales team. Before entering the furniture industry, he also was vice president of sales and operations for a mobile telephone company.
In his new position, he reports to Michael Rosilio, president of Meridian Furniture.
“As our business continues to grow, we wanted to add an experienced sales leader to our team to help build out our national footprint and increase our penetration with leading national retailers,” Rosilio said.
Hodges said he looks forward to his new role with Meridian.
“Meridian has built a tremendous business with on-trend design and style that I believe has so much potential,” Hodges said. “They have a strong team, excellent product development cycle and strong logistics—all the elements that will lead to greater success.”
