by STAMFORD,Conn. – On December 16th, the newest Ashley store in Connecticut celebrated its Grand Opening Ceremony of a new 19,687 sq. ft. showroom located at 2113 Summer Street, Stamford, CT 06905.
The new store is owned and operated by Eugene Chrinian, who owns 23 additional Ashley stores in surrounding regions. This store will employ approximately 15 people. Ashley, the number one selling furniture store brand in the world, has more than 1,100 locations worldwide.
Justin Chrinian, Chief Revenue Officer stated, “We are proud to serve the Stamford community by amazing our team members and the guest we serve.”
As part of the Grand Opening Ceremony and tied to our commitment to amazing the communities we serve, we have partnered with Inspirica, a local organization that is determined to break the cycle of intergenerational poverty, providing up to 30 youth mattresses to children in need through our Hope to Dream program. Participating Ashley stores donate a portion of all mattress sales to the Hope to Dream program which provides deserving children with a twin mattress, bed frame, bedding, and pillow.
Caroline Simmons, the Mayor of Stamford, thanked the company for choosing Stamford as their first Connecticut location. Simmons expressed that she was thankful not only for the jobs but the generosity and compassion of the mattress donation. “It’s truly rare to see that in companies and they truly appreciate it.”
The new Ashley showroom features complete lifestyle vignettes, down to the final detail of lighting, rugs and wall art. Product categories include bedroom, dining room, upholstery, leather, occasional tables, home office, youth bedroom, recliners, mattresses, and accessories. Technology enhances the environment, incorporating various elements to improve the guest shopping experience.
Ashley hours are Monday through Saturday 10:00am – 9:00pm and Sunday 11:00am – 7:00pm.
