by American Furniture Warehouse is showing their commitment to MDA by kicking off their Summer Camp Campaign with a check of $3,513. Their donation represents $1 for every employee across their fourteen locations. During the month of May they will continue to raise funds in each store to help transform the lives of children with muscular dystrophy and related neuromuscular diseases to benefit the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA).
Their campaign is focused on helping provide funding for MDA Virtual Summer Camp. MDA Virtual Camp is an online program for children that brings the magic of camp to campers virtually. The weeklong camp focuses on building friendships, fostering independence, developing life skills, increasing self-esteem and creating connections. Support also helps fund groundbreaking research and critical care services for everyone living with muscular dystrophy, ALS and related neuromuscular diseases.
