LOGAN, Utah—Malouf recently held a Q&A session with National Sales Manager Eric Holmstead and Product Development Manager Ryan Carlisle to discuss new developments to the Salt Flat line, including what products are trending and what retailers can expect to see in the coming months. How have retailers responded to the Salt Flat line?
Holmstead: Salt Fla fell in line with our other products perfectly. Retailers are thrilled that they can now directly access high-end furniture through the same vendor, which helps simplify their lives. Our partners are impressed with the style and quality of the Salt Flat line, and they’re excited to offer these products to their customers.
What are a few best-sellers?
Carlisle: People love the Bowe Sectional. Our customers really like the product’s modular construction because it gives them the freedom to customize the sectional however they want. A few other top-sellers include the Ironwood Dining Table, the Wells Leather Sofa, the Heath Bed and the Barne Bed.
How can retailers order Salt Flat products?
Holmstead: Retailers can get a product catalog from our Wholesale Resource Center or by contacting one of our sales reps at sales@maloufsleep.com. Salt Flat products are available through our container direct program, but we expect to have inventory in our warehouses by early next year.
What new Salt Flat products are in the works?
Carlisle: Our team is working diligently on some exciting developments. The Bowe Sectional is available in leather and a performance fabric, which will be the case for other sofas in the lineup. We’re also designing some new rugs and accessories and experimenting with exotic woods for our dining tables.
Where can retailers experience the Salt Flat line?
Holmstead: Retailers can experience Salt Flat furniture in our High Point and Las Vegas showrooms or at our Logan headquarters. Salt Flat will be a huge focus for us at Las Vegas Market, and we invite our partners to check it out along with our other product releases.
