HIGH POINT, N.C.—While the High Point Premarket generally isn’t a big event for the casual category, this month’s event—held April 25-27—marked the debut of a new outdoor line and additions to another relative newcomer to the category.
Regina Andrew Detroit launched its Coastal Living outdoor line during the show, displaying a number of the nearly 20 styles of exterior lights. The collection includes sconces, pendants, outdoor lanterns and flush mounts.
“We’re really excited about it,” said Patricia Egloff, national sales manager, Regina Andrew. “It’s a small offering, but we can build on it.”
The collection reflects the company’s edgy, modern aesthetic along with coastal notes that up the outdoor vibe. Details such as lightbulb covers on several models ensure durability for exterior use. The line will be on display during the upcoming June High Point Market.
On the furniture side, the Bernhardt Exteriors collection, which launched in 2019, expanded with several new pieces.
Among the standouts, a dining table made with a Dekton top on teak legs. Dekton—an ultra-durable, nonporous material used in outdoor kitchens and countertops—offers the look and appeal of stone without cracking, staining or breaking. The table features a marbelized finish that resists wear.
Bernhardt added cast aluminum to the line this year with gorgeous occasional tables featuring a faux bois technique on the legs and a sturdy GRC top.
To accompany all those tables, several handwoven dining chairs with both rattan and rope weave options made their debut, along with new teak deep seating and chaises featuring a decorative woven back. Bernhardt Director of Brand Development Heather Eidenmiller said more chaises were to come later this year.
And the company also added to its signature upholstered line, including a stunner in white upholstery with black finished teak arms.
Bernhardt Exteriors’ introductions will also be available at the June High Point Market.
