Jonathan Charles named key sponsor in Buckhead showhouse project

ATLANTA (August 12, 2022) –  Fashion and design furniture leader Jonathan Charles has been selected to participate this September in a collaborative industry multi-designer showhouse presentation located in Atlanta’s prestigious Buckhead neighborhood.

FLOWER, the beautifully curated lifestyle magazine, has pulled together 21 of the industry’s most celebrated interior designers to design and furnish the interior of the 10,000-square-foot home designed by award-winning Atlanta architect Peter Block & Associates.

Jonathan Charles partnered with designer Lisa Mende of Lisa Mende Design to develop a lake-themed interior concept featuring select signature pieces such as the William Yeoward Alnwick Bureau and Flux Lacquer Etagere. Also included is one of Jonathan Charles’ statement beds from their new Serene portfolio which will feature a custom embroidered headboard by Stephen Wilson, a regional embroidery artist who has worked with high fashion brands such as Gucci and Chanel on a number of products and installations.

The Buckhead home is being built by luxury home builder, Young & Meathe with the grounds coming to life by renowned Atlanta-based landscape architect John Howard.

“This showhouse embodies impeccable design across every spectrum,” says Shaw. “It is inviting yet tailored, fresh yet questionably timeless,” said FLOWER founder and Editor-in-Chief Margot Shaw. “It speaks to the old and the new in a truly magical way. With the quality of talent involved, it promises to be a masterpiece for the ages.”

In addition to Jonathan Charles, the FLOWER showhouse project features a who’s-who roster of high quality, high design furniture manufacturers from across the industry.
