HIGH POINT (Oct. 31, 2022) – Nice Link, one of the largest suppliers of fabric upholstery in the industry, is poised to help upholstery manufacturers hit the retail refresh button with four new collections that reflect enduring and important trends in home fashion.
“The time to refresh the retail floor and inspire consumers is upon us, and each of our new collections plus sustainable options in new body cloths offer that energy to our customers,” said Doug Henderson, vice president of residential upholstery fabrics. “Our 20 years as a leading fabric supplier means we know the enduring and emerging trends in upholstery.”
Gentler on the Earth
Sustainability is top of mind and trends, and the eco-conscious Nice n Eco collection originally introduced last year is emphasizing new and diverse body cloths that mimic the surfaces and colors found in nature. Micro and macro images of land, plants, water and planets inspire an endless interpretation of the world around us. The collection recreates surfaces of tree bark, sand, rocks with unique yarn and weave constructions. The natural colors of stone, clay, water, vegetation and sand create sophisticated and universal palettes. Made using at least 30% recycled fibers by Repreve, each yard of fabric uses 9-10 plastic bottles, keeping them out of landfills.
Roam to Come Home
Headlining the new collections that capture some of the most enduring trends, Nomadland is inspired by travelers passionate about authentic experiences. It offers an eclectic combination of patterns with multi-faceted designs and a global aesthetic in rich, saturated colors. Ikat effects, paisleys, and classic ottoman designs pay homage to timeless, collectible, and culturally influenced textiles.
Wonders of Art Deco
From world travels, eyes and hearts are open to the wonders of architecture and interior design captured in the new Deco Core collection. The century-old Art Deco design movement continues to influence architecture and interior design. Glamorous, luxurious materials and embellished opulent interiors is a key characteristic. The colors have a vintage feel with a modern twist. Rounded arches and stylized florals with metallic accents create graphic movement and energy. Repetition of stepped forms and sweeping curves merge elements of decorative arts and modernity.
Daring to Be
Bold, expressive and daring describe the Modern Studio collection. Freeform brushstrokes, watercolor effects, color blocking and hard-edge graphics create cutting-edge imagery inspired by iconic modern art. Fashion forward colorways make an energetic, playful presentation. Breaking boundaries has always been a goal for artists, and this collection does just that.
The Nice Link showroom is located in the historic Market Square Textile Tower, 10th floor.
