Home Depot promotes 2 to senior leadership roles

Ann-Marie Campbell named senior executive VP; Hector Padilla named executive VP, US stores

ATLANTA — HNN 125 retailer Home Depot has named Ann-Marie Campbell senior executive vice president and Hector Padilla executive vice president, U.S. stores.

Campbell previously served as executive vice president, U.S. stores and operations since 2020 and is a 38-year veteran of the company, having held leadership roles at various stores, along with leadership positions in merchandising and operations.

In her new role, she will assume responsibility for pro sales efforts that include areas such as customer service and also will help oversee the company’s installation services business. She also will continue to oversee U.S. stores and operations.

Padilla has been with the company for more than 29 years and has served across the company’s pro, store and services organizations. He most recently served as executive vice president, outside sales and service, where he led the company’s pro and installation service units.

Prior to this, he was in various leadership roles across stores, including president of the company’s Southern division, senior vice president, operations, regional vice president and general manager of home services to name several key roles.

Reporting to Campbell, he will lead the company’s three operating divisions that comprise more than 2,000 U.S. stores.

“By combining the outside sales and service business with the global store organization, the company is bringing together its full ecosystem of deep expertise with its newest capabilities to serve pro customers – from the core pro customer working on smaller, simpler projects to pros working on larger, more complex projects,” the company said.

“Pro is our biggest growth opportunity, and in order to provide the products and capabilities pros need, we are evolving our organization and approach to better serve them,” said Ted Decker, chair, president and chief executive officer. “Ann-Marie and Hector are incredible leaders who understand the unique requirements of the pro, as well as the dynamic operating environment across stores. I’m confident their focus on our customers, dedication to our associates, and passion for our culture will help us capture the enormous opportunity ahead.”
