Scot Kanaly leaves position as VP of sales at Norwalk Furniture

Company names Carrie Norris vice president of development

NORWALK, Ohio — Home News Now has learned that industry veteran Scot Kanaly has left his post as vice president of sales at Norwalk Furniture to pursue another opportunity.

Kanaly had held that post since April 2019. Previously, he had been Norwalk Furniture’s national sales manager since
January 2013. Before joining Norwalk, Kanaly held several senior posts with Bassett Furniture.

In a memo to Norwalk employees, Denny Camp, interim CEO, confirmed that “Kanaly has chosen to pursue an opportunity
outside of Norwalk” and added that the company has brought back Carrie Norris, who had previously been Norwalk’s
executive vice president, as vice president of development.

Camp also told Norwalk employees that “Carrie is returning to Norwalk Furniture and this move was made after Scot Kanaly made his decision to leave Norwalk.”

In a memo to employees, Dan White, board chair at Norwalk, said, “Norwalk Furniture is excited to welcome Carrie Norris back as vice president of development. In this role, she will lead the sales team, drive business development and build stronger partnerships with our retail partners nationwide. With her extensive experience in sales and operations, Carrie will be instrumental in driving growth for both our existing and new product offerings.”

Immediately prior to rejoining Norwalk, Norris had been director of operations for Fox Real Estate Groups. She also was an owner
of a Massage Envy location, executive vice president at Norwalk Furniture, a sales representative for Century Furniture and was
the owner of Norwalk-The Furniture Idea for more than 12 years.
