TOLLESON, Ariz. — Legends Furniture has named Mariano Tellarini as its new chief operating officer and chief financial officer.
He occupies a role previously held by former chief operating officer Shankar Rathnam, who left the company this past fall to become COO of The Music Room in Erie, Colo.
Tellarini has more than 20 years of experience in finance and operations and most recently worked at Oxyfresh Worldwide, where he was president and chief operating officer. In this role, Legends said that he “successfully completed the transformation of their business model, stabilized operations and dramatically turned the company’s results around.”
During his time with Oxyfresh Worldwide, he also helped the company win multiple awards while also doubling sales and giving it a “roadmap to ensure their long term, rapid growth.”
Before joining Oxyfresh, he was controller and operations manager at ATEN Technology and vice president, finance and operations at Ergo Contract Furniture.
He previously was managing partner at MasThink, and vice president, finance and operations at Govplace. Before joining Govplace, he was director, finance at Systems Brokers.
Since joining Legends, the company said that he has been analyzing the business and has already made significant improvements in the company’s accounting and operations processes, while also streamlining the company’s processes “to set them up for future sustainable growth.”
Tellarini reports directly to Chris Dockter, Legends’ owner and president.
“Mariano is an extremely important addition to our team and will give us the drive we need to be successful in the upcoming year” Docker said.
