Description: As NFM’s Director of Merchandise Planning, Inventory Flow, and Transformation, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sales, margin, and inventory strategies that drive revenue and profitability across all channels and locations to achieve corporate objectives.
This role involves leading the merchandise planning and inventory flow strategy, developing merchandise systems and process roadmaps to support corporate objectives, optimizing vendor performance, and creating a competitive advantage through organizational and talent development. This role reports to the Chief Merchandising Officer and works very closely with the Directors of Furniture, Flooring, Appliances and Electronics with same reporting structure.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field is required
- 10+ years of experience in merchandise planning and inventory flow, with a focus on retail
- Proven track record of success in developing and executing merchandise plans
- 10+ years of experience with merchandise systems, with a strong preference for Blue Yonder
- 5+ years of experience with a Product Information Management system
