Description: LaDIFF is seeking a smart, creative individual to join its design consultant team selling modern furniture in downtown Richmond at a new store location in Manchester (corner of Commerce & Gordon), across the river from the store’s former location.
Responsibilites include meeting, greeting and assisting visitors and customers while listening to and educating the customer. The person in this role will use point-of-sale software for inventory look-ups, add customer information, enter quotes & sales, and follow up with customer orders.
Qualifications and Skills
- Creative, problem-solving approach to design & furniture needs
- Professionalism, a strong work ethic, and a sense of humor.
- A background & education in furniture and/or design is helpful, but not required
- An active interest and/or experience in sellingto and/or serving the public and a desire to help people furnish their homes and offices.
- A strong customer service and follow-through skills
- Ability to learn our product and procedures quickly and thoroughly.
