Las Vegas Market primed for strong end to summer 2021 market season

LAS VEGAS, N.V. – (August 19, 2021) – Las Vegas Market closes out the Summer 2021 buying season with a comprehensive presentation of top furniture, home décor and gift brand presentations in showrooms and the all-new EXPO at World Market Center Las Vegas, August 22-26, complemented by engaging in-person experiences, industry celebrations and more.

Leasing Gains Expand Showroom Offerings

Across the furniture, home décor and gift categories, brands are choosing Las Vegas Market to be their gateway to the West Coast with some 33 new, expanded and relocated showrooms set to open among the 600+ showrooms at the Summer Market.

Six updates in furniture and bedding continue to diversify the collection of 2,000+ furniture lines on 31 Floors in Building A and B. New showroom Accord Comfort Sleep Systems (mattresses) joins the previously announced openings of Purple (mattresses, pillows, cushions, bedding, bed frames and pet beds) and Rize by Mantua (bed frames, adjustable beds, bedroom furniture, commercial bed bases, mattresses, pillows and other bedding and support products) and the relocation of Reverie (adjustable bases, mattresses, bedding) in a series of commitments that confirm Las Vegas as the nation’s top bedding resource. Furniture offerings also grow with new showroom Mobital (outdoor, occasional, lounge, dining and bedroom furniture plus lighting) plus a relocation for Roberto Grassie (dining sets, sofa sets, console tables, coffee tables, wall art and décor).

The 13 home décor updates for Summer 2021 further expand Las Vega Market’s offerings with new and expanded resources presenting accent furniture, accessories, decorative objects, lighting, outdoor furniture, pillows, rugs, wall art and more. The 500+ resources on 13 floors in Buildings A, B and C grow with new showrooms Park Hill Collection (decorative accessories, furniture, and seasonal décor) and Veritas Home (luxury tabletop and home décor) and a relocated/expanded Union Home (solid and recycled wood furniture) adding to the announced updates: new showrooms for A. Sanoma (handmade bone and horn décor), Furniture Classics and K & K Tabletop (handmade lace and crochet tabletop and accessories) plus expansions for Barloga Studios (photographic prints on various media), Mercana Furniture & Décor (accent furniture, accessories, art and lighting), RENWIL, Inc. (art, lighting, accessories, accent furniture, rugs and pillows) and more.

In gift, 14 new, expanded and relocated showrooms expand the 2,000 gift and lifestyle resources on seven showroom floors in Building C. Most recent showroom additions are Art Studio Company (socially conscious hand-crafted goods), Humbolt Artisan Group (handmade items crafted by makers living in Humboldt County, CA) and KAI USA / Shun Cutlery (kitchen cutlery handcrafted in Japan) plus relocations / expansions for Mer-Sea (travel accessories, candles, home fragrances and other luxury gifts) and Peter Pauper Press (gifts and books).

Cross-Category Expansion for Temporary Exhibits

Las Vegas Market’s temporary presentation is more than 25% larger than the April 2021 market with 200+ exhibitors in its Gift and Home Temporaries in the new EXPO at World Market Center Las Vegas and Home Furnishings Temporaries in Building B, Floor 2.

The Gift and Home Temporaries are maximizing their new home at the entrance to Las Vegas Market with an expansive collection presented in six categories – Design, Gift, Handmade, Home, Immediate Delivery (Cash & Carry) and Luxe. The temporary exhibits are seeing significant increases in new lifestyle brands like Berbermade (high-end poufs and home accessories), Colette Cosentino Atelier (luxury art, home accessories and tabletop), Jura (coffee machines), Néos Candlestudio (handcrafted candles), Prince of Scots (home textiles and barware) and more as well as the return of top brands like 9th Letter Press (stationery and home décor), Flora Bunda (garden and floral) Kazi /All Across Africa (baskets and home décor), Papersalt (stationery), Pomegranate Moon (fashion accessories), Rescued Wine (candles) and more.

The Home Furnishings Temporaries are significantly expanded for the Summer 2021 Market with nearly half of the exhibitors returning after a market hiatus. Highlights include Fusion Designs (Amish furniture), iOBED (mattresses and bedding), North American Wood Furniture (case goods for bedrooms, living rooms, offices, entertainment rooms) plus a pavilion by the Indonesia Trade Promotion Centers of Chicago and Los Angeles.

Two west coast tastemakers — designer Christopher Grubb and BOLD by Design Magazine founder and Editor in Chief Julia Molloy will serve as masters of ceremony for the event.
