Home News Now taps industry veteran for editorial leadership

Cecile Corral named editor-in-chief of Decor News Now

HIGH POINT — Home furnishings industry digital publication Home News Now has appointed Cecile Corral as editor-in-chief of Decor News Now.

Corral is an authority in the home fashions industry. Her journalism career spans 25 years — including two decades covering the home fashions sector. She hails from BridgeTower Media, where she served as editor of luxury trade publication POSH and senior editor of Home Textiles Today, Home Accents Today and Furniture Today.

At Decor News Now, she is charged with spearheading the January launch and directing its editorial platform, content and messaging. Cecile will work alongside fellow industry veteran Susan Dickenson, former editor-in-chief of Home Accents Today. She joined the Home News Now team in September and has elected to support the brand’s development as style editor, covering home decor product introductions and trends and overseeing social media.

The target audience encompasses the industry’s vast community of designers, manufacturers, suppliers, importers, retailers, market leaders, decorators, brands and licenses, and others.

Starting January 6th, Decor News Now will run as a weekly newsletter released every Wednesday. Subscription is free. 

Also debuting in January will be Casual News Now, which will be led by Editor-In-Chief Jennifer Bringle and will focus on the casual and outdoor home product categories. It will run every Thursday, starting January 7th.

Sister publication Home News Now, led by Editor-In-Chief Clint Engel, launched in August as the trade’s premier online publication for the home furnishing industry.
