Units about the size of a small cell phone can be placed inconspicuously on the backs or sides of furniture
HIGH POINT – Terry Seitz, owner of Woodbrook Designs, is partnering with a technology company to help market a sterilization device aimed at combatting Covid-19.
The exclusive agreement with Verified Pro Safety Noitavonne will provide a sterilization device that can be attached to furniture inconspicuously and help clear the air of germs within a certain amount of square feet.
The device does this through UV technology that can eliminate bacteria and viruses on contact through an air flow that is powered by a five-stage UV, ozone and oxygen enrichment system.
“It not only sterilizes, but deodorizes too and does it without a filter,” Seitz said, noting that a smaller and larger version of the unit will be on display at his showroom at the October High Point Market. “And it is 10 times faster than any other sterilization on the market.”
The units will be shown at the Woodbrook Designs showroom at 812 Millis St. in downtown High Point from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Oct. 14-19 in conjunction with the October market.
The smaller of the two is about the size of a small cell phone and can be attached to the back of a headboard, dresser, or nightstand, for example. Retailing from $699-$799, this unit provides 360-degree coverage for up to about 800 square feet of space without needing a filter.
Noitavonne also will have a larger unit on display that is about the size of a loaf of bread. It covers up to about 1,200 square feet.
Seitz noted that the units can be placed in different rooms of the home, ultimately covering a small, medium or large sized home.
The technology will be available to consumers as an add-on sale at the point of purchase. The units also can be attached to previously purchased furniture.
“People who are immune compromised will buy this, and I don’t blame them,” Seitz said. “The thing about Covid as we have seen with the Delta variant is that there will be a new variant every year. This will be with us forever.”
