by COVINA, Calif. — Massage chair and zero gravity seating manufacturer Cozzia USA has promoted industry veteran John Cribbs to executive vice president, a new position.
In this role, the company said, he reports to Cozzia USA President Bob Bruns and will be responsible for directing and leading sales efforts for all Cozzia USA brands.
Cribbs has been at the company for 12 years, most recently as vice president of national accounts for the past nine years. In this role, he oversaw all national accounts and e-commerce business for Cozzia USA and its brands.
Before this, he was director of national accounts and also previously oversaw sales and marketing for about three years after joining the company in spring 2011.
He also has been president of CoolStuff Furniture Group and also previously served in various roles as a e-tailing marketing specialist and e-commerce marketing specialist for Revoluxion and Sofab respectively. He also was a sales and marketing representative for Pride Mobility and was a senior sales and marketing representative for Hillsdale Furniture.
“In his 35 years supporting the home furnishings industry he has focused on understanding each retailer’s unique positioning to deliver offerings to achieve maximum consumer sales results and align those with their overall vision,” the company said in a statement announcing Cribbs’ promotion. “Through his many years in the industry, John has become very familiar with retailers, their operations and what it takes to help them succeed.”

Cribbs said he is pleased at the opportunity he and the company will have with this latest promotion.
